Engineering
Most desk speakers are sold in pairs and placed wherever there is space, which puts them at the wrong distance and the wrong angle. We sell the Monitor singly with a printed placement guide, because at near-field distances the difference between a 40cm and 70cm separation is larger than the difference between most drivers. The enclosure is a sealed 1.9-litre volume in machined aluminium with no port, so there is no port noise and no tuning frequency to interact with a desk.
